The preeminent modern dance company returns to the Kennedy Center with a program that addresses race relations and the enduring influence of Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie and other important musicians. The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater production also includes new works by artistic director Robert Battle. Get ready to be united by the power of dance. Sunday marks the final performance and there are a limited number of tickets available.

He is an Oscar, Emmy and Grammy award winner.  He is coming to the Birchmere Music Hall on September 19, 2017.
